1, Introduction and Goals

Overview

The Land Registry is a UK Government department responsible for the registration of all land ownership in the UK. This service will enable us to communicate with the Land Registry and retrieve land ownership documents, so we can verify owners, boundaries etc.

Nimbus is a third party who supplies Land Registry titles, cheaper, and using a easier Restful interface.

N.B. As the decision on which service to use has not been decided, at this point, when the term 'Land Registry' is used it refers to either service.

Goals

The goal of this implementation is to integrate the Land Registry with hub, so we can verify property ownership, and obtain property information so we can meet our statutory requirements.

  • Retrieve documentary information on properties.
